Learning about plants, connecting with friends and hanging with the Vikings is an apt summary of the last couple of days.

On Saturday I went to a Viking Market with a friend I met in 2017, Ingrid. It was so great to reconnect and learn about all the creative projects she has been working on, as well as learn from some of the members of the Kongsberg viking- og middelalderlag. I braided a bracelet with Inger Lise and she showed me an amazing backpack she wove with the bark of a Birch tree – MIND BLOWN!

Today there was a market along the Drammenselva of artists and makers. I loved the idea of the artists all having their stalls along the river, it was such a lovely setting for the event and I was amazed how many artists there were…

The University next door to my accommodation also had an open day, I had a good chat with a young woman who worked for the student union. She had some very quirky merch and very generously gave me a bunch of stuff including a bunch of “dicktator” condoms complete with portraits lol!!

Then I went for a long walk along the river, exploring some of the historic buildings in Bragernes, looking along the shore for a piece of Amber as my uncle Garry reckons I will find some ❤

Now for my next Ukulele lesson Mr Youtube!!
