The last two visits to the ANBG have focused on trying to locate the 10 species of trees identified as endangered in my previous post about gathering content for the exhibition. This has proved to not be an easy task even though I have had some great help from some of the horticulturalists, my husband as well as some online and paper maps to use. My plan is to include these locations as moments of pause of my treewalk, Talking to Trees planned for 8 May.

What I have discovered so far…

Acronychia littoralis

Allocasuarina portuensis

I think there needs to be one more visit to find the last three trees. Once I have the list, I will then be able to plan the walk and start selecting some images for the exhibition.
